Covid-19 Home/Remote Learning

Covid-19 Home Learning Plan for when school is open:

Should your child need to self-isolate, we will provide learning matched to the class learning. Your child's class teacher will contact you by email initially. Work will be emailed each week and should be returned via email or via Purple Mash, as requested by the teacher.

Should a bubble close, all classes will receive some live teaching over Zoom, from the class teacher. This will be focused on English and will be by email invitation.

In all cases of isolation or bubble closure, all children should access:

1) White Rose Hub daily Maths lesson on line (link below). Don’t forget our Calculations policy is on the website – this shows and tells you exactly which calculations are taught in each year group – and how.

2) The Teacher's Plans and learning sent to you by email

3) Oak National Academy for all other subjects where directed by the class teacher (link below).

Please note, should the teacher be too ill with Covid-19 to plan and send work home, then all learning will default to Oak National Curriculum, and White Rose Hub Maths.

We supply and mark work in Covid-19 cases, for any other case of illness, holiday or absence from school, including cases where children are not in school because of parental refusal to send back, we do not supply or mark work.

Please continue to abide by Covid-19 regulations to help prevent a bubble or a school closure.

Many thanks for your understanding.
