Dear Parents and Carers
I am delighted to be able to welcome you to our school website. I hope that our pages provide you with all the information that you need and also give you an insight into our school's daily life.
During their years at Weldon CE Primary School, our children are given the opportunity to learn about a range of subjects through an exciting creative curriculum. This provides them with a firm foundation on which to build for their success during their secondary phase of education.
Our dedicated Staff team all work closely together to motivate and encourage each child to do well, to celebrate achievements and to develop initiative, independence, self-confidence and a sense of responsibility.
Our school believes in the value of home-school partnerships, where children share their homework with interested adults and where the staff regularly share their curriculum intentions with parents and carers. We have a warm and friendly atmosphere where parents, carers and the wider community are actively encouraged to become fully involved in school life.
As a Church of England Primary School we have a close association with our Parish Church community and pride ourselves that our Christian principles and ethos permeates throughout the whole of our daily learning. Our school is an academy within the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET).
We welcome visitors to our school, so should you wish to see us at work then our friendly office staff will arrange an appointment for you. I look forward to meeting with you.
Mrs Lynne Wildman, Headteacher
